Eco-design, green energy, soft mobility, and inclusion: launching its first CSR Charter and affirming its commitment to sustainability
SITEVI 2025, the international exhibition for the winegrowing, winemaking, fruit, and olive growing sectors, takes a new step by strengthening its commitment to sustainable development with its CSR Charter. The aim is clear: to deliver a more responsible, inclusive, and sustainable event, in line with the major environmental and societal challenges facing the agricultural world.
SITEVI 2025 focuses on an organisation that respects resources:
- Use of recycled and recyclable materials for stands and installations.
- 100% of structures, partitions, and equipment reused at other events.
- Eco-designed carpeting repurposed as solid recovered fuel.
- Shared logistics transport to limit emissions.
Responsible waste management and reuse
Accessible sorting stations throughout the exhibition, composting zones, and partnerships with local associations (such as Les Alchimistes and Ressourcerie 34) give materials and organic waste a second life.
Social, inclusive and solidarity commitment
SITEVI collaborates with solidarity partners (ESAT, local associations) and promotes inclusion through:
- A dedicated employment space with Vitijob and Jobagri.
- Free entry for students.
- An exhibition accessible to all: dedicated routes for people with disabilities, wheelchair loan service, staff trained in inclusive reception.
Greener mobility and energy
To reduce the carbon footprint of travel, SITEVI encourages sustainable mobility:
- Free tram transport from Montpellier.
- Shuttles from the train station and airport.
- Online CO₂ calculator provided by ADEME. In terms of energy, the event runs on 100% green electricity, partly generated by solar panels.

Local and responsible catering
All restaurants and caterers at SITEVI commit to offering local, seasonal, and vegetarian cuisine. Reusable tableware is the standard, and food surplus will be redistributed to local associations.
